Annotation

As a young boy, Solomon Khromchenko was memorizing Napolitan songs by listening over and over again to the recordings of Enrico Caruso and Beniamino Gigli. Having become a professional singer himself, he regularly included them in the programs of his performances, no matter where they took place: in a concert hall, at a factory, or at one of the fronts of the Great Patriotic war. Solomon Khromchenko masterfully turns each of the songs in an original vocal miniature, with its unique lyrical ambience, filled with the feelings and emotions of its characters.
